The National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame, based in Fort Worth, Texas, is a museum and cultural institution dedicated to recognizing and interpreting the lives of women who shaped the American West through courage, resilience, and independence. It aims to educate the public about cowgirl history and Western heritage by presenting artifacts and narratives that highlight achievement and barrier-breaking. The organization began in Hereford, Texas, in 1975 and moved to a Fort Worth facility in 2002, expanding from a basement collection to a 33,000-square-foot space. 
In 2025 the institution announced a 16,000-square-foot expansion to broaden the visitor experience, developed in partnership with EwingCole. This development reflects an ongoing effort to expand access to its educational mission and engage audiences interested in the history of Western women.
