National Diaper Bank Network is a nonprofit that coordinates a nationwide effort to help individuals, children, and families access basic necessities, including diapers, period supplies, and other essentials. It was launched in 2011 with the support of founding sponsor Huggies and operates through a network of more than 300 basic needs banks serving communities across all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico. The organization is based in New Haven, Connecticut. It also leads the Alliance for Period Supplies, created in 2018 with support from U by Kotex, to raise awareness of period poverty and expand access to menstrual products through more than 130 allied programs. In March 2026, NDBN announced a national pilot program in partnership with Elevance Health to broaden diaper access and generate evidence on how meeting basic material needs affects maternal and child health.
