The National Eagle Center is a small museum and educational facility in Wabasha, Minnesota, focused on eagles and the Mississippi River watershed. It offers up-close encounters with rescued bald and golden eagles, interactive exhibits, and daily programs to teach visitors about their biology, ecology, and natural history. Since opening in 2007 along the Mississippi River, the center has evolved from a volunteer-led outdoor eagle viewing opportunity into a year-round destination with river views. Operating within the museums, historical sites, and zoos sector, it emphasizes environmental stewardship and community sustainability through its programs.

The center serves tens of thousands of visitors each year, drawing audiences from across the country and around the world, and relies on a collaborative team of full-time staff, part-time workers, and volunteers. In October 2024, Ed Minnema was named Executive Director, marking a leadership milestone for the organization.
