About National Mental Health Corps: Health360 and the Healthy Minds Alliance are now the National Mental Health Corps (NMHC). We were founded in 2012 as the Healthy Minds Alliance and pioneered an innovative partnership with AmeriCorps to bring highly qualified, passionate, and committed group of young leaders to address the workforce shortage in the mental health sector. 

These days, the need is greater than ever before. To meet that need, the NMHC is leading a national initiative, partnering with universities, healthcare organizations, schools, and crisis centers to meet urgent community mental health needs. Together, we can address urgent mental health workforce gaps by building a steady pipeline of trained professionals who are ready to serve in high-need areas. By placing professionals in crisis response and prevention roles, we empower communities to respond effectively to mental health needs, fostering resilience and preparedness. As part of our expanded mission, NMHC also nurtures sustainable careers in mental health through continuous training and development, ensuring that communities benefit from dedicated professionals over the long term.
