The National Oil Corporation (NOC) of Kenya is a fully integrated State Corporation under the Ministry of Petroleum and Mining mandated to participate in all aspects of the petroleum business which comprises upstream exploration and downstream operations. The corporation vision is to be the leading integrated oil and gas company for Kenya and the region. In upstream exploration, NOC is tasked with the marketing of exploration acreage, management of exploration data and upgrading of the Petroleum Laboratory as well as set up a seismic processing center. NOC operates its own exploration acreage in Block 14T located within the Tertiary Rift Basin (Magadi Sub-Basin). NOC has an active downstream business segment with a growing retail network spread throughout the country. NOC owns and operates a modern petroleum terminal which serves the Corporation’s needs and provides hospitality to petroleum companies. The Corporation trades under the brand name ‘National Oil’ together with the ‘Supa’ branded range of products including SupaGas, SupaLubes range of lubricants & fleet management card system SupaCard. The Corporation is an ISO 9001/2008 Certified company.
