The National Rowing Foundation (NRF) is a United States-based nonprofit established in 1966 that raises funds to support the U.S. National Rowing Teams. It has supported Olympic athletes for more than four decades and directs its resources to year-round training, development, and competition. The NRF also maintains the Hall of Fame and Rowing Museum to preserve rowing history. Its primary beneficiaries are athletes who represent the United States in national and Olympic rowing, along with recognized coaches, and it collaborates with organizations such as USRowing. In January 2020, NRF and USRowing announced the Row to Tokyo Million Dollar Challenge Campaign as a fundraising initiative. The organization is based in North Stonington, Connecticut, and operates with a relatively lean staff.
