National Society of High School Scholars is a distinguished academic honor society that recognizes high-achieving student scholars across more than 26,000 high schools in 170 countries. Membership is determined by rigorous academic performance, described as among the highest criteria for national high school honors programs. Founded in 2002 and based in Atlanta, Georgia, the organization has grown to include more than 2 million members spanning from high school through college to careers.

Its mission is to honor academic achievement and provide resources and scholarships that enrich educational journeys, fuel career interests, and drive community impact, while offering networking opportunities for members. In 2025, NSHSS formed a partnership with Occupational Therapy, Inc. to expand its outreach.
