The National Sports Center is a large, multi-venue recreational facility complex located in Blaine, Minnesota. Opened in 1990 and developed by the State of Minnesota as part of a statewide effort to improve amateur sports facilities, it now sits on a 600-acre campus described as the world’s largest. Key additions over the years include the Super Rink (1998), the National Youth Golf Center (2000–2004), and the Schwan Center (2005). The facility serves amateur athletes, clubs, and event organizers by providing space for training, competition, and exhibitions across its extensive campus. In 2026, it joined with Minnesota United FC and the American Amputee Soccer Association to host the inaugural Minnesota Amputee FC Soccer Clinic, illustrating its ongoing role as a community hub for diverse athletic programs.
