At NVHS, we believe that no veteran should be left behind on the streets. That’s why we have been working tirelessly since 2008 to provide help for homeless and at-risk veterans and their families with the support they need to secure a stable and dignified life. Here are some of our achievements and services:

- We have reduced the homeless veteran population in Brevard County by 90%, from 1,800 in 2008 to less than 200 in 2024.
- We provided street outreach, prevention case management, and transitional housing to over 400 veterans and their families in the last 12 months.
- We have received a Platinum rating on GuideStar and a 4 Star rating on Charity Navigator for our fiscal responsibility and transparency.

We are proud of the work we have done, but we know there is still more to do. The rising cost of living and inflation in our area puts many low-income veterans and their families at risk of homelessness every day.
