The Native Prairies Association of Texas is a nonprofit organization focused on conserving and restoring native prairies in Texas and educating residents about their benefits. It collaborates with landowners to promote prairie conservation and restoration, and engages communities through outreach activities such as field trips, workshops, webcasts, videos, volunteer projects, and youth education programs. The prairie landscape is highly endangered, with less than 1% of Texas's historic tallgrass and coastal prairies remaining. 

Based in Manchaca, Texas, NPAT operates as an accredited land trust and nonprofit membership organization founded in 1986. The organization protects more than 6,500 acres through acquisition, partnerships, and conservation easements, including 11 owned properties and 19 prairies permanently protected through voluntary agreements with private landowners.
