Natural Enrichment Industries, LLC (NEI) is a U.S. chemical manufacturer that produces Tricalcium Phosphate (TCP). Based in Herrin, Illinois, with production facilities in Sesser, the company serves markets that rely on TCP for its applications in various phosphate-related processes. NEI operates as a relatively small industrial player within the chemical manufacturing sector, centered on specialty inorganic salts and their uses in downstream formulations and manufacturing processes.

Founded in the aftermath of a bankruptcy, NEI reopened production in 2001 after acquiring a facility in Sesser and has since continued as a regional supplier. A recent development in the company’s trajectory is its acquisition by Prayon, Inc., which was announced in September 2024, reflecting a strategic expansion of Prayon’s presence in the phosphate salts market. The business maintains its U.S. operations and address in Illinois as part of this ongoing corporate evolution.
