Natural Lands is a conservation nonprofit serving the Greater Philadelphia region, headquartered in Media, Pennsylvania. The organization is member-supported and aims to safeguard natural areas while providing access to outdoor experiences. It has protected more than 135,000 acres, including 42 nature preserves and a public garden that together cover more than 23,000 acres, with about 2.5 million people living within five miles of protected land. As the region’s oldest and largest land conservation organization, Natural Lands pursues permanent protection through acquisitions and conservation easements, often in collaboration with local governments and communities. In June 2026, it completed the purchase of 10 acres of the Oakwell property from the Lower Merion School District, expanding the Stoneleigh area.
