The Neighborhood House of Milwaukee is a Milwaukee, Wisconsin-based organization in the field of individual and family services with a mission to strengthen people, families, and the neighborhood. Founded in 1945, it operates from a 60,000-square-foot facility that has long addressed urban poverty by supporting children, youth, families, and seniors. The organization has served well over three hundred thousand people and provides accredited preschools along with programs for kids, teens, parents, and seniors, with a strong emphasis on nutrition and healthy living.

Its nutrition and health initiatives are carried out in partnership with institutions such as the Medical College of Wisconsin, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and United Way, enabling work that addresses vaccination gaps, poor nutrition, obesity, teen pregnancy, and sexually transmitted diseases. Notable programs include the teen Personal Responsibility Education Program, an Outdoor and Environmental Education Program, and the International Learning Center, which has earned recognitions and is among Milwaukee’s small number of USBIA-accredited citizenship program sites. In July 2024, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announced a $100,000 grant to Neighborhood House of Milwaukee to support environmental education projects.
