New Brunswick Public Schools is a vibrant, diverse school district located in one of New Jersey’s most historic communities, a thriving college town that has been home to Rutgers University for over 250 years. To date, New Brunswick Public Schools has around 2,000 certified teachers and professional support staff members serving the needs of 11 schools. Specifically, there are eight neighborhood elementary schools and a middle school, plus New Brunswick High School – which features four themed career institutes and two preparatory academies – and the Health Sciences Technology High School for students interested in eventually pursuing healthcare careers. In addition, an Adult Learning Center addresses local community requirements and has provided educational services to more than 4,000 graduates.
