Market Expansion Potential As a specialized provider of design and technology training tailored for community groups, small businesses, and professionals, New Design School presents an opportunity to offer complementary educational tools, digital resources, and software solutions to enhance its curriculum and workshop offerings.

Technology Integration Given the school's focus on creative software training and recent adoption of web development stacks such as Ruby on Rails and jQuery, there is scope to promote partnerships with software vendors or provide tailored tech solutions that can streamline curriculum delivery or enhance student engagement.

Growth Through Accreditation The ongoing preparation for accreditation opens avenues to introduce premium educational platforms, assessment tools, and online learning management solutions that support quality assurance and institutional recognition, thereby attracting more students and funding opportunities.

Local Community Engagement With a history of working with city employees, small businesses, and entrepreneurs, there is potential to develop bespoke training programs, industry-specific certifications, and corporate partnerships to expand revenue streams and strengthen community ties.

Cross-Region Collaboration Positioning alongside comparable institutions with larger scales, such as The Glasgow School of Art or Royal College of Art, offers prospects for strategic alliances, exchange programs, or joint workshops that can elevate the school's profile and attract regional or national funding and sponsorships.

New Design School aims to educate the next generation of creative professionals and entrepreneurs that will shape the future of innovation in design and technology. New Design School offers adult education through certificate-granting seminars that build toward a career in graphic design. The school is licensed and regulated through the Arkansas State Board of Private Career Education and has successfully renewed its license annually since it was founded in 2006. Seminars are focused on providing creative, technical and professional skills necessary for the career of graphic design. The program consists of 22 individual seminars that include software training, design history, typography, color and culminate in a thesis that visually summarizes the desired niche of visual communication a student aims to enter. New Design School also offers community workshops called, “makeshops” where individuals or groups can receive design and technology training. City employees, small businesses, self-employed individuals, students, entrepreneurs, and local corporations have participated in hands-on training at New Design School. Makeshop participants gain professional development in the latest design software, increase their design knowledge and learn to create print and web materials such as newsletters, flyers and web sites. We are currently preparing for the accreditation process for the school and its academic program. Our vision is an accredited school of art and design offering a wide variety of academic studies that are currently not available in the state or region.
