New England Forestry Foundation operates in the environmental services sector, applying its forestry expertise to safeguard forestland, protect wildlife habitat, and bolster climate resilience in New England. Working with private landowners, NEFF has conserved more than 1.2 million acres since 1999, a substantial share of the region's protected forests. The organization also owns and manages more than 150 Community Forests where sustainable forestry is practiced and public recreation is supported. 

Its collaborations extend to private landowners, foresters, and land trusts to conserve large forested landscapes and to develop tools and programs that engage landowners. Based in Littleton, Massachusetts, NEFF operates in the environmental services and forest conservation space, and named Ryan Owens executive director in 2024.
