New Generation Energy (NGE) is a Boston-based nonprofit committed to making America's neighborhoods healthier and more sustainable. 

We help nonprofits and small businesses develop and fund green energy projects. From renewable energy (including solar, wind, and biomass) to energy efficiency projects, NGE is dedicated to saving energy, lowering carbon emissions, and building green communities.  

To support nonprofit organizations, NGE operates a microfunding site that lists green energy projects at nonprofit organizations. To support small businesses with the development of green energy projects, we provide low interest loans made possible from the sale of Renewable Energy Investment Notes (REIN).
