The New Jersey State League of Municipalities (NJLM) is a non-profit association that represents New Jersey's municipalities, with its headquarters at 222 West State Street, Trenton, NJ 08608. It serves all 564 municipalities and engages with the New Jersey State Legislature, the state executive branch and regulatory agencies, as well as the media, the public, and the courts. NJLM offers a broad range of services to members, including legal assistance, technical assistance and training, labor relations support, policy development, research and analysis, publications, and advisory services. Federal representation is provided in conjunction with the National League of Cities. Founded in 1915, NJLM is governed by a Board of Directors elected by member municipalities, with committees of municipal officials contributing to policy and program development, and its staff size ranges from 11 to 50 employees.
