New Latin Wave is a New York–based arts organization founded by Chilean-American composer Sokio and interdisciplinary creative producer Amanda Riesman. Dedicated to amplifying contemporary Latine voices, its mission is to incubate emerging talent and build a dynamic network of collaborators, cultural producers, venues, and institutions that support both artist and audience development. New Latin Wave has produced concerts, festivals, exhibitions, and community programs in collaboration with artists and organizations across New York City and beyond, including our ongoing partnership with Lincoln Center presenting the annual “FUTUROS, New Ideas in Composition” series. In 2026 New Latin Wave marks its 10th anniversary, a milestone reflecting a decade of sustained artistic production, commitment to long-term artist and audience development, interdisciplinary collaboration, and showcasing Latine excellence across contemporary art and culture.
