New Republic Studios operates a modern television and film facility located near Austin, in Elgin, Texas, along the Colorado River. The site includes four purpose-built sound stages, production facilities, and a 200-acre backlot to support a variety of shoots. Over the coming years, the company aims to expand into a multi-platform creative campus that will serve film, television, commercial, new media, and AR/VR/XR projects, as well as the broader creative community, with a dedicated team and a range of services and amenities. In 2020, Mindy Raymond, an Austin-based actress and entrepreneur, was appointed president of New Republic Studios, becoming the first female president. The studio is positioned to provide production spaces and related resources to projects of any scale across the film, television, commercial, and emerging media landscape.
