New World powered by AppDirect is a small IT services and consulting firm based in Tyler, Texas. Founded in 1999 by former executives in telecommunications, network services, and technology, the firm acts as an unbiased advocate for clients seeking technology and communications solutions. It maintains access to a global network of more than 350 providers, enabling a broad range of mainstream and niche options, with consultants functioning as an extension of the client's team.

A notable feature of its model is that the majority of its services are provided at no direct cost to clients, effectively adding an on-demand technology resource without increasing payroll. The firm supports clients by helping negotiate with providers, shaping the provider strategy, and ensuring accountability across cost, service, and network structure throughout engagements. It emphasizes a view that technology should serve people, focusing on developing solutions that help people work more effectively rather than selling technology.
