New York Angels is a member-led organization based in New York City that supports early-stage startups from their initial pitch through to a successful exit. Founded in 2004, New York Angels has established itself as a prominent participant in New York City's early-stage startup ecosystem, leveraging its network to support entrepreneurship through growth. Portfolio companies have been acquired by major firms such as Google, Intel, CBS, and Living Social, reflecting the group's role in developing startups that reach scale. In March 2026, Peter Bodenheimer was named Executive Director, following the retirement of Liz Lindsey, who had led the organization for twelve years.
