The New York Center for Living is dedicated to one purpose: helping young people and their families work through the web of problems caused by the use and abuse of addictive substances, both legal and illegal. We are a vital source for families around the country looking for information and help for the young people in their lives who have problems with substance abuse and other co-occurring disorders. Our treatment program was developed by experienced professionals who understand the young mind and their behavioral patterns. We focus on the needs of teens and young adults who begin and continue to use addictive substances in response to the daily pressures of adolescence and urban and suburban life. We emphasize the importance of addressing problems as soon as they come to light. At the New York Center for Living, we understand substance use touches more than one area of an addict's life.
