New York Revels (NYR) is a performing arts organization that promotes community celebrations of seasonal events that draw on traditional music, dance, storytelling and drama from around the world. Each year NYR presents The Christmas Revels: A Celebration of the Winter Solstice, a fully staged theatrical production that joyfully honors Christmas and the Winter Solstice and engages the audience in a unique multicultural experience that rouses people of all ages to sing in their seats and dance in the aisles.  The cast includes adult and children choruses, brass band, traditional dancers and musicians and actors.  In addition to the Christmas Revels, NYR holds a number of other seasonal singing events throughout the year at various locations around the city.

NYR is a 501 (c) (3) organization.
