The Newark California Chamber of Commerce is a membership-based, 501(c)(6) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting, creating and maintaining the economic vitality of Newark’s businesses and community through leadership in advocacy, communication and collaboration. The Strategic Goals of the Chamber are: 1) Expand Networking Opportunities Host diverse events and workshops that meet business needs and build connections among members, civic leaders and the Newark community. 2) Promote Chamber Members Enhance the visibility of Chamber members by showcasing their strengths and successes, with a focus on small businesses. 3) Foster Community Engagement Inform the public about programs and events sponsored by the Chamber, City of Newark and partner organizations that enhance community well-being. 4) Advocate for Business Interests Represent member interests in policy discussions and decisions made by the City of Newark and other governmental entities and public agencies. 5) Strengthen the Local Economy Partner with the City of Newark to attract and retain businesses and lead initiatives that promote sustainable economic growth.
