The Newark Symphony Orchestra is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, volunteer organization based in Newark, DE. Symphony concerts are held at The Independence School - Gore Hall located at 1300 Paper Mill Rd. Our musicians and professional soloists from the Brandywine Valley region perform the full classical repertoire offering a FREE Family Concert, 4 Symphony concerts, and 3 Chamber concerts each year. NSO is a fiscally conscious organization with a member supported endowment fund and a balanced budget each year. We keep our ticket prices affordable, with discounts for students, seniors, and large groups. NSO is a focal point for the arts in the greater Newark area, partnering with area youth groups, adult choruses, dance and theater groups in creating each symphony season for you to enjoy !
