At NewImpact, we focus not on “what” every organization is trying to do, but on “how” they do their work.  We believe that organizations that adopt “tri-sector” business models drive innovation to deliver solutions that improve people’s lives at scale faster.

New Impact is both a mindset shift to “tri-sector innovation” and the practical tools and processes to make it happen in organizations. 

At our core, we are a Humanity Benefit Organization.  We believe that the world is full of catalytic opportunities to be found and hard problems to be solved.  Each sector of the economy has unique and powerful assets that can contribute to drive progress at scale faster.  To find solutions, we need the best knowledge and resources from companies, nonprofits, and governments.  

When you stop and think about it, this truth is self-evident. Why wouldn’t we want to utilize the best resources society has to offer?  A government agency might have an amazing database, a nonprofit unique access to group of people, and a company a powerful distribution system.  Yet we do not build our organizations with this tri-sector mindset.   Companies, nonprofits, and governments often operate in silos that ignore what other sectors have to offer.  But what if they didn’t?
