Having started out as Heung-A Tire Industry in 1942, we produced the first vehicle tire in Korea in 1956 in the aftermath of the Korean War. In 2000, we changed our name to NEXEN TIRE with the aim of communicating our new vision for the NEXT CENTURY.

Our rebranding under a new corporate name in 2000 ushered in an era of rapid growth that astonished the world. Since 2000, it has realized a remarkable growth in the market as the share in the Korean domestic market in the field of tire for vehicles, which was only 8% in the past, became over 20% as of today. Namely, NEXEN TIRE has sprung as a true global business that has about 340 dealers in approximate 140 countries in the world.
