NFFTY is the world’s largest and most influential film festival for emerging directors. 

Occurring each spring in Seattle, Washington, NFFTY showcases films from the best new talent 24 years and younger.  The festival includes over 200 films, categories include feature-length and short films in narrative, documentary, animation, music video, and experimental.  The most recent festival included attendance surpassing 12,000 and boasts online engagement over 3 million a year.

NFFTY also recently launched a Young Women in Film initiative to support our emerging female filmmakers in an industry where representation is low.  NFFTY has created a special award, and programming opportunities and will seek networking and development sessions as this initiative continues to grow.  

In addition to the festival, NFFTY also features a production arm called NFFTY Creative. NFFTY Creative connects brands with emerging talent to produce original content, and you can check out some of our work here: nfftycreative.org.
