Nichols Truck Bodies, LLC. is a full line truck equipment house serving Jacksonville and surrounding North East Florida area since 1954. Products include flat beds, flat bed dumps, custom manufactured, under body hoist exclusive Harsh, we also sell Godwin Hoist and Contractor dump bodies and Godwin rollbacks. We sell Thieman, Maxon and Waltco Lift Gates, Lifitmoore Cranes, Lyncoach Van Bodies. We are exclusive Stahl Service Body Distributor, with a backup line of R K I. We are exclusive distributor of Adrian Steel Van Interiors and Ladder Racks as well as our own line of custom made pick up service body and van racks. Nichols sells Donovan and US Tarp, body tarps and mechanisms. Nichols sells Curt Hitches and custom fit hitches for heavy contractor trucks. We sell and use Buyers Products Tool Boxes and hardware as well as Austin hardware products. Nichols manufactures steel sheet and plate parts for the building industry including beam clips, concrete pour stops, stair pans and many custom parts. The machines, Shears, Press Brakes, Punches and heavy Band saws used in the manufacturing of truck bodies are the same machines used to fabricate building parts. 

Facilities: Total enclosed shop and office area is approx. 20,000 sq. ft. This includes a cross ventilation paint booth that is large truck size, 20'X50', with an outside mixing room. 

Staffing: one General Manager, one steel estimator, one outside sales for truck equipment, one office manager, secretary-receptionist-billing and accounts receivable. 6 shop mechanics, welders, fitter’s equipment installer.

Customers: Private contractors, road, land clearing, plumbing, HVAC, builders, truck dealers, plant nursery's, Grocery store service trucks and vans.

Competitive advantage: In addition to purchased truck bodies and equipment that we install, service and sell. We operate in a niche market fabricating specialty bodies, one off customs that are fabricated to the customer’s needs.
