Nikolas Weinstein Studios is an interdisciplinary studio based in San Francisco, established in 1991, that focuses on site-specific glass sculptures designed to integrate with architectural spaces and respond to natural light. The practice is known for large-scale installations and a proprietary flexible glass-textile system developed through decades of material research and a long-term engineering partnership, enabling delicate forms that meet seismic and logistical demands across a range of project sizes. Its client base includes prominent architectural firms, and the studio has completed permanent installations across Europe, Asia, and North America, reflecting its position within the architecture and design industry as a collaborator on major commissions. A notable recent development is a collaboration with Aidlin Darling Design for the American Institute of Architects' headquarters in San Francisco, highlighting ongoing engagement with influential design practitioners. The studio operates in the artists and writers sector, employing a team in the San Francisco area to execute its site-responsive glass works.
