The Niles-Maine District Library is a public library district serving 59,000 residents in Niles and unincorporated Maine Township, located at 6960 Oakton Street in Niles, Illinois. Its mission is to engage, inform, enrich, and educate the community. It has earned recognition as one of America’s starred libraries by Library Journal and as a Top Workplace by The Chicago Tribune.

In August 2023, the library appointed an interim head and engaged HR Source to assist with the director search. In 2020, it received the John Cotton Dana Award from the American Library Association for excellence in library public relations and strategic communication.
