Nira Alpina puts you in the heart of the mountains.

Perched above the idyllic town in the Swiss resort of St. Moritz at the upper end of the stunningly beautiful Engadine valley, Nira Alpina is designed for independent, nomadic travellers. In winter, ski out, ski in. In summer, the adjoining cable car leads to spectacular high-altitude hiking and biking trails.

All 70 rooms and suites feature a large terrace or balcony and floor to ceiling panoramic windows overlooking Lake Silvaplana and the Engadin range of mountains. The interiors incorporate natural fabrics, materials and furnishings, including earthy hues such as chocolate suede, rich mahogany damasks and natural Italian stone tiles.

Taking a cue from its surroundings, the Nira Alpina cuisine is natural and fresh. Whilst the chef’s inspiration comes from afar, most ingredients are farmed, caught, raised or bred within a few kilometers, satisfying the appetites of worldly, well-travelled individuals.
