Wismettac was established in 1912 as a trading company in Kobe, Japan. Under the founding philosophy of "bringing the food of the world to Japan and the food of Japan to the world," we have continued to pursue the joy of eating. Starting with an export business of selling Japanese food, Asian food, and foodstuffs to overseas restaurants and supermarkets, mostly in the United States, in 1921 we registered Shirakiku, our private brand for such export items. We now deliver Pan-Asian foods from over 40 locations worldwide.
