NLNG is a Nigerian oil and gas company established on May 17, 1989 to develop Nigeria's natural gas resources and produce liquefied natural gas (LNG) and natural gas liquids (NGLs) for export. The company operates from five offices, with the liquefaction plant and the majority of technical personnel located in Bonny Island and Port Harcourt, while corporate and administrative staff are based in Port Harcourt at the Corporate Head Office, as well as in Abuja, Lagos, and London. It wholly owns Bonny Gas Transport (BGT) Limited, which provides ship chartering and operating services, and Nigeria LNG Ship Manning Limited (NSML), which supplies personnel for NLNG’s shipping vessels. NLNG’s LNG is delivered to ports around the world, reflecting an international export market.
