NOCALL is a professional association serving the needs of legal information professionals in northern California. Founded in 1980, the organization supports libraries and related institutions by connecting members who work across law firms, academic libraries, courts and agencies, and other segments of the legal community. Based in the United States, NOCALL has grown to roughly four hundred members representing more than a hundred libraries in the Bay Area and surrounding counties, reflecting a diverse membership that includes students, publishers, vendors, and corporate legal departments. The group has historically contributed to leadership roles within the national association, indicating active participation in the broader field of legal information services.
