Nofence is a technology company based in Molde, Møre og Romsdal, Norway, offering a pioneering virtual fencing option for livestock. Its grazing system lets farmers manage pastures and herds from a smartphone app, removing the need for physical fences. The solution aims to cut the time and costs of grazing management while enabling animals to graze in new areas. By supporting regular animal movement, it can contribute to biodiversity, fire control, and soil and plant protection, while meat and fibre production continues. The company operates within the technology, information and internet sector and serves farmers and other livestock producers. In 2026, Nofence announced partnerships with The Farm Journal Corporation and its Trust in Food initiative to broaden virtual fencing data to more U.S. producers.
