Nordic Patent Institute is an intergovernmental organization established by the governments of Denmark, Iceland and Norway. Nordic Patent Institute provides Global Patent Searches for Companies and IP law firms. To perform these searches it uses the competences of the patent examiners at the Danish and Norwegian Patent Offices, covering all technical fields. The examiners are all highly skilled with extensive experience in searching patent and non-patent literature in direct dialog with the customer. The searches are performed using the best available search tools and databases. Nordic Patent Institute also acts as a PCT Searching and Preliminary Examining Authority and acts as such for nationals and residents of Denmark, Iceland, Norway and Sweden.
