The mission of the North American Hardware and Paint Association (NHPA) is to help independently operated hardware stores, home centers, lumberyards and paint and decorating outlets throughout North America become better and more profitable merchants.

Our website contains information on the home improvement industry, exclusive industry and retailer videos of exciting events going on in the industry, as well as training programs designed for home improvement retailers.

In addition to providing training support for home improvement retailers, NHPA is the publisher of Paint & Decorating Retailer magazine, the independent paint and decorating retail industry’s leading publication, and Hardware Retailing magazine, the industry's most trusted source for retail, industry and product information. Hardware Retailing magazine is circulated to 40,000 of industry decision-makers, retailers, distributors, manufacturers and wholesalers.
