North Branch Works is a Chicago-based civic and social organization focused on community and economic development in the North River and Addison Industrial Corridors, a three-and-a-half-mile area northwest of the central business district. For more than thirty years it has leveraged local government and neighborhood relationships to promote environmentally sustainable growth linked to workforce development and job creation, using business advocacy and innovative solutions to guide land use and revitalization. As a delegate agency of the City of Chicago, the organization works with more than 700 local businesses to provide economic development and employment services that support business retention and job growth. In 2015 it expanded its service area to include the Kennedy and Ravenswood Industrial Corridors. In 2026 it announced a partnership with Wintrust Bank to host an information session for interested businesses.
