Strong Educational Partnerships The North Carolina Council on Economic Education actively partners with prominent institutions such as Campbell University, the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants. These collaborations present opportunities to offer specialized training, educational resources, and sponsored programs aligned with their ongoing initiatives.

Growing Demand for Economic Education Recent legislative changes and mandates requiring economic and financial literacy in schools have increased the demand for comprehensive, standards-based educational materials and teacher training. This creates a potential market for curriculum providers and learning technology solutions.

Focus on Teacher Development The organization provides free professional development workshops, seminars, and courses for educators, highlighting an interest in innovative, scalable training solutions such as online platforms, learning management systems, or supplementary digital resources to expand their reach.

Local and Statewide Reach With a network that includes university centers, teacher ambassadors, and statewide competitions, the organization presents opportunities for local service providers to collaborate on event sponsorships, digital engagement tools, or customized content offerings tailored to their regional focus.

Limited Revenue Stream Given the organization’s modest revenue range up to one million dollars and reliance on partnerships and grants, there is a potential open market for nonprofit-focused financial solutions, sponsorships, or value-added educational technology sales designed to enhance program impact and sustainability.
