The North Central Texas Trauma Regional Advisory Council (NCTTRAC) is a nonprofit organization responsible for coordinating oversight of the trauma system across Texas' Trauma Service Areas C, D, and E. It is based in Arlington and serves as the administrative body for regional trauma governance in North Central Texas. Its stakeholders include hospitals, pre-hospital services, and other healthcare entities seeking to improve trauma, acute, and emergency care and preparedness. The council provides a forum for these groups to collaborate on education, data collection and analysis, and performance improvement initiatives. NCTTRAC describes its work as a three-part effort that includes preparation through research, education, injury and illness prevention, and emergency management; support through protocol development, resources, communications, and advocacy; and response to the needs of the emergency healthcare community, partners, and the State of Texas. In 2021, the organization partnered with Texas Health Physicians Group to support regional trauma efforts, including deploying a medical tent at Texas Health Rockwall's main campus.
