The North Coast Rape Crisis Team is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization with an all-volunteer Board of Directors and dedicated team of paid staff and volunteer advocates, counselors and prevention educators. We have offices in Eureka and Crescent City and serve both Humboldt and Del Norte counties. We offer the following free & confidential services to survivors of all ages and all gender identities, regardless of when the assault happened: –24-Hour Hotlines (collect calls accepted) • Del Norte: (707) 465-2851 • [ TTY: (707) 465-2031 (M-F 8:30-5pm) ] • Humboldt: (707) 445-2881 • [ TTY: (707) 443-2738 (M-F 8:30-5pm) ] – Immediate supportive services to children and adults of any gender who are survivors of sexual assault, sexual abuse, sex trafficking, and/or sexual harassment – Support and information for families and friends of survivors – Information on medical and legal procedures that survivors may encounter – Accompaniment to law enforcement agencies, medical appointments, court proceedings, etc. related to an assault – Advocacy on behalf of survivors with law enforcement, medical providers, court personnel, etc. – Individual counseling for people of all gender identities – Support groups (currently available for woman-identified, adult survivors of sexual assault) – Information and referrals to community resources (i.e. therapy, medical, social services, etc.) – Women and girls’ self-defense workshops We are also available for friends, family, allies and significant others of survivors wishing to seek information or support for survivors or for themselves as they are also impacted.
