The North Houston District is a government-administered business district in Houston, Texas, located at the intersection of Interstate 45 and the North Sam Houston Parkway. It hosts many of the region's largest companies and delivers services focused on economic development, urban planning, and public safety to support local business activity. As a relatively small regional entity, it coordinates activities that aim to meet the needs of its business community within the Houston area. In recent years the district has pursued community-focused initiatives, including Wussow Park improvements backed by a grant announced in early 2024. In 2023, it announced a partnership with the U.S. Soccer Foundation, the Houston Dynamo, and the Houston Dash to install a mini pitch at Thomas R. Wussow Park by mid-2024. The organization also announced leadership changes in 2022, appointing Robert Fiederlein as Vice President of Planning and Infrastructure and transitioning longtime leader Bart Baker to Chief Operating Officer.
