The North Kitsap School District is a public K-12 education district based in Poulsbo, on the north end of the Kitsap Peninsula in western Washington. It covers about 110 square miles and serves roughly 5,900 students across six elementary schools, two middle schools, and two high schools. The district supports several communities—Poulsbo, Kingston, Suquamish, Hansville, Indianola, and Port Gamble—and is located in a region that includes the Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribe and the Suquamish Tribe. The district has engaged in collaborations with local partners, including a 2021 partnership with the Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribe to advance vaccine-related capabilities for school personnel and a 2022 rollout of Panorama Education surveys to gather family feedback.
