Founded in 2000, North Sky Capital is a pioneer in impact investing in the United States with more than $2.1 billion of investor commitments. Now in our 25th year, we have deployed more than $1.6 billion across approximately 200 impact investments. Since 2003, we have identified and invested in companies, private equity funds and infrastructure projects focused on making the world a better place. In 2005, North Sky launched the first impact fund of funds in North America. We have continued to innovate in this market, launching the first impact secondaries fund in 2013. Today, our Impact Secondaries Funds are the leading liquidity providers to impact investors worldwide. 

During the Great Recession, we identified an opportunity to invest in clean energy infrastructure projects in North America, while also creating high-paying construction jobs. Beginning with our first Infrastructure Fund in 2010, our sustainable infrastructure funds have been investing in renewable power, energy storage, efficiency, water and waste projects where we see opportunities to create attractive financial gains, demonstrable environmental benefits and high-quality construction jobs.
