The Northbrook Park District is a public recreational agency serving residents of Northbrook, Illinois. It holds title to 505.34 acres of parkland and leases 2.42 acres from the Village of Northbrook, and it maintains 24 parks that include community, neighborhood, play lot, and passive spaces. The district operates a broad mix of indoor and outdoor facilities, ranging from fitness and recreation centers to golf, pools, courts, fields, and trails. Its major programs cover ice skating, visual arts, music, performing arts, preschool, summer camps, child care before and after school, aquatics, athletics, and seasonal events, delivered across distinctive venues such as the Techny Prairie Activity Center, the Ed Rudolph Velodrome, Sportsman's Country Club, Anetsberger Golf Course, the Leisure Center with the Northbrook Theatre, and the Northbrook Sports Center. In May 2026, the district announced an enhancement project adding updated dressing rooms, expanded rehearsal space, and a new black box–style studio theater to support future productions.
