The Northeast-IAATI is the northeastern regional chapter of the International Association of Auto Theft Investigators, based in Mansfield, Massachusetts. It serves professionals involved in vehicle theft investigation, insurance fraud, and vehicle crimes across the Northeastern United States and the Eastern Provinces of Canada. The chapter brings together hundreds of active and retired law enforcement officers, insurance SIU investigators, vehicle fraud investigators, and automotive experts from both sides of the border. Its charter was granted by IAATI on January 24, 1972, reflecting an established need for a dedicated professional network in this field.

Operating within the public safety sector, the organization functions as a professional association that facilitates collaboration and information sharing among its members. In 2024, Carfax for Police announced a collaboration with IAATI and NE-IAATI on the Investigating Trends: Vehicle Crimes Series, illustrating a concrete joint initiative involving NE-IAATI.
