Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital is an acute care facility serving northeastern Nevada, acting as the regional healthcare hub in the Elko area. Founded in 2001, the campus includes 75 all-private patient rooms, four operating suites, a fully equipped ICU, and a modern Diagnostic Imaging department. It is fully accredited by the Joint Commission and licensed by the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services, and provides a broad spectrum of diagnostic, therapeutic, emergency, and surgical services, including ENT, orthopedic, and urology surgeries. The campus includes a connected medical office building that provides direct access to radiology, nuclear medicine, mammography, a 24-hour emergency department, laboratory services, inpatient and outpatient surgery, and rehabilitation. The hospital supports community wellness through programs such as health fairs, diabetes support groups, screenings, and educational initiatives. In 2025, Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital partnered with University Avenue to explore land development for a potential new hospital, and in March 2026 it participated in a Health & Fitness Fair offering free lab work, underscoring ongoing community outreach.
