Northmont City Schools is a public district providing primary and secondary education for students in PreK through 12th grade. It serves about 4,700 students across a 44-square-mile area that includes Clayton, Englewood, Union, Phillipsburg, and part of Clay Township, and it operates an early learning center, four elementary schools, a middle school, and a high school. Based in Englewood, Ohio, the district has a long history of academic, athletic, and fine arts excellence spanning more than five decades. It has invested in new facilities, including the Kleptz Early Learning Center, which opened in 2014, and a high school building that opened in 2016, and it partners with the Miami Valley Career Technology Center to offer career pathways; in 2024 the district earned recognitions for violence prevention and a national REACH Award.
